Basic skills in Computer for all majors in yniversityThe course introduces basics of computers, Microsoft Windows and Office(MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) in conformity with the "European Computer Driving License – ECDL" and the "International Computer Driving License – ICDL" ensuring knowledge gain in the basic concepts of Information Technology (IT), the use of personal computers and common computer applications at adequate level of competence. Hardware & software of computers, commonly used software general applications such as: word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and database are thoroughly discussed.  Brief introduction to communication (Internet, e-mail, world-wide-web, etc.) is given as well.

This concept is often referred to as electronic commerce or, a more inclusive term, E-Business. To be successful in the e-business arena, organizations will need people who are knowledgeable about the
opportunities and challenges associated with IT, e-business, and international business. The e-commerece course has been designed to help IT students increase their knowledge in these areas so that they may better understand how organizations may formulate a global e-commerece strategy and business plan.

This course has been designed to help IT students in increasing their knowledge in E-learning, its concepts, elements, standards, components and how it’s being used to spread knowledge around the world.

تركز هذه المادة على استخدام الإنترنت في تطوير عملية التعلم والتعليم. كما تعرف هذ المادة الطلبة على المفاهيم النظرية في عملية تصميم المادة التعليمية. و تعريف و تطوير بعض وسائل الصوت والصورة التي يمكن استخدامها في الغرفة الصفية. كما تهدف هذه المادة إلى تطوير مهارات المتعلمين على المبادئ والمهارات الاساسية في إستخدام الحاسوب بالاضافة الى متابعة حوسبة الادارة المدرسية من خلال التعامل مع البيانات المحوسبة للطلبة مثل ( البيانات الأساسية والسلوكية والصحية والإجتماعية والأكاديمية وبيانات أولياء أمورهم ).
